What is a wiki?

For varying definitions, try Wikipedia or dictionary.com

How is a wiki used?

Anyone who wants multiple users to edit and develop online data can make good use of a wiki. Educationally, a wiki can not only provide information for students from the teacher, but can also provide forums for students to share ideas, information, and feedback. Because the wiki is a dynamic environment, changes are frequent.

What is considered acceptable/unacceptable on this wiki?

This is an educational wiki, therefore, all communication should follow classroom rules and regulations. Remember that you are on the internet. Anyone can read what you write, including the parents of other students. As stated on the home page of this wiki: "...speak honestly and truthfully, and do so with the utmost care and respect."
